My interest in landscapes evolved from photographing birds and flowers. While on location for these subjects it is hard not to respond to the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. In addition, my two primary mentors, Dr. Ronald Neilson and Leonard Conkling, are eminent landscape photographers. In this category I include close-up and abstract images of natural subjects.
