Columbia Gorge from Shepherd's Dell

The autumn color was especially beautiful this past fall. Here is an example of that beauty photographed from the bridge at Shepherd’s Dell looking northwest down the gorge. The Vista House is visible in the upper left of the image, and the river is just peeking through the vegetation in the upper right-center of the image. The stream in the middle is the stream that flows through Shepherd’s Dell. The day was blustery and misty, accounting for the soft light and clear colors.
